50 free 2 Chronicles trivia questions with answers — trivia quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
Second Chronicles tells the story of Judah's kings from Solomon to the fall of Jerusalem, and it tells it with a preacher's eye. Kings who seek God prosper; kings who abandon him meet invasion, illness or worse. The book also adds scenes that the books of Kings leave untold, which makes it rich ground for a quiz. These questions run the length of the book. They take in Solomon's request at Gibeon and the building of the temple, Rehoboam and the split of the kingdom, and the reforming reigns of Asa, Jehoshaphat, Hezekiah and Josiah. King Asa gets a full set of his own: his battle at Mareshah, his treaty with Syria, his clash with a seer and his final illness. The closing questions deal with Judah's collapse and with the book's place in the Bible. The quiz suits Bible study groups, Sunday school classes and anyone reading through the Old Testament. Each answer comes with a short explanation drawn from the text, and the wording works for the King James Version and modern translations alike.
