Corpse Party began as a hobbyist horror game in 1996 and grew into a cult series of remakes, sequels, manga, an anime and live-action films. Its setup is simple and cruel: a group of classmates try a harmless-looking charm after dark and wake up scattered through a ruined building in another dimension, where most of them will not survive.
