89 free Creepypasta trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
Creepypasta is what happened when 4chan crossed copypasta with campfire stories. The word appeared around 2007, Creepypasta.com followed in 2008, and by 2010 The New York Times was covering a genre that had already produced Slender Man, Jeff the Killer and Ben Drowned. Since then it has spawned the SCP Foundation, the Backrooms, analog horror, a Syfy anthology series and an A24 film. These 89 questions trace the genre from Ted the Caver and the Rake through Slender Man's Something Awful origins, Marble Hornets and the Enderman, Ben Drowned's Majora's Mask cartridge, SCP-173 and the Wikidot wiki, Kane Parsons's Backrooms videos, Kris Straub's Candle Cove and Channel Zero. Easy questions stick to the big names; the hard end asks about pen names, 4chan boards, Onion headlines and Indiegogo totals. Every answer is cited to a page we checked, with a short explanation attached. Play it solo or print it for a Halloween quiz night.
