47 free Double Dare trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
Double Dare premiered on Nickelodeon in October 1986 and almost immediately tripled the network's afternoon audience. If you grew up shouting at the TV while a kid dug through a giant nose for a flag, this quiz is for you. It covers the original Marc Summers run, Super Sloppy Double Dare, the Fox and Nickelodeon versions of Family Double Dare, Double Dare 2000, and the 2018 revival with Liza Koshy. The early questions are the ones any fan can get: what a physical challenge is, how many obstacles are on the course, what Pick It was. Then it digs into the parts only real trivia hounds know: the board game the format was based on, why Summers was told never to reveal his age, which design movement inspired the checkerboard set, and how the show later ended up in a kart-racing video game. Every answer was checked against Wikipedia's detailed franchise history and Marc Summers' biography, so the numbers and dates hold up if anyone challenges you to a double dare of your own.
