50 free Enclaves and Exclaves trivia questions with answers — geography quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
An enclave is a territory completely surrounded by the territory of one other state. An exclave is a part of a state that is separated from the rest of it by foreign land. The two ideas overlap, but they are not the same: a place can be one, both or, with a stretch of coastline, only half of either. This quiz covers the geography behind those definitions: whole countries that sit inside a single neighbour, regions cut off from their own capitals, border towns divided house by house, and the treaties, floods and surveying slips that created them. Every answer comes with a short explanation, so you learn the difference as you play. It suits geography fans, quiz teams, and students revising political geography terms for class.
