50 free Final Fantasy IX trivia questions with answers — trivia quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
Final Fantasy IX closed out the series' PlayStation years by looking backwards. After two entries with modern, futuristic worlds, it returned to castles, airships and black mages, and wrapped a story about mortality in a storybook look. Many fans, and some of the people who made it, still call it the best game in the series. This quiz covers the whole adventure: Zidane, Garnet, Vivi and the rest of the party, Kuja and the powers behind him, the kingdoms of Gaia, eidolons, weapons and minigames. It also covers the corners fans search for most, including the play I Want to Be Your Canary and the enemy that quizzes the party with true-or-false questions. A handful of questions go behind the scenes to the team and the music. It suits anyone who has finished the game once and remembers the big moments, with harder questions later for players who chased every sidequest. Every answer comes with a short explanation, so a miss still teaches something, and the questions can be printed for a quiz night.
