50 free Heartland trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
Heartland has been on Canadian television since October 2007, which makes it the longest-running one-hour scripted drama the country has produced. It started as an adaptation of a children's book series set in Virginia, moved the ranch to Alberta, and then outgrew the books by a couple of hundred episodes. Along the way it survived a flood that swamped a set and the departure of its male lead. These 50 questions cover the whole run. The easy tier sticks to the family: who plays Amy, Lou and Jack, what Ty was doing at the ranch when he arrived, what Lou turned Heartland into, and which actor plays Tim. The middle asks about Lisa Stillman, Caleb and Ashley, Georgie, Mallory, Peter's Dubai job, Jack's heart attack and the season 14 premiere that changed everything. The hard end goes behind the camera: the town that plays Hudson, the Calgary neighbourhood that replaced it after 2013, the banker who bought the book rights, the theme song's singer and who Lauren Brooke actually is. Every answer is cited to a page we checked and comes with a short explanation. Play it solo or print it for the ranch.
