130 free Kindergarten trivia questions with answers — trivia quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
These 45 kindergarten and preschool trivia questions are written for four-, five- and six-year-olds: short questions, simple words, and answers a child meets every day. The set covers animals and their babies (what a baby cat is called, which animal has a pouch, which bird cannot fly), colors and what happens when you mix them, shapes with three or four sides, the seasons and the weather, the days of the week, and a little counting from legs on a spider to wheels on a tricycle. Read the questions aloud and let children pick from the four choices, or let an early reader tap through on a tablet with a little help. There is no timer to worry about, and a short, friendly explanation follows each answer with one extra fact to talk about. Teachers can use it for circle time or a brain break; parents can use it in the car or at the dinner table. Every answer has been checked against Wikipedia's article on the animal, shape or season involved, and each question shows the sentence that backs it up once you have answered.
