50 free Magic Tree House trivia questions with answers — literature quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
Magic Tree House has been sending Jack and Annie through time since the early 1990s, and the series is still growing: new numbered adventures keep arriving, the Merlin Missions added longer quests, and the Fact Trackers put real history and science beside every story. It is one of the few book series a seven-year-old and a parent can both be tested on. This quiz covers the whole shelf: where each book goes and who the kids meet there, the rules of the tree house and the people who send them, the apprentices Teddy and Kathleen, the British retitlings, the stage musical and the animated film, and the author's own life before the books. It is written for readers aged six to ten and for the parents, teachers and librarians who keep the series in their classrooms, with plain wording and an explanation that adds one more fact to every answer.
