49 free Midsommar trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
Midsommar is a horror film that happens almost entirely in daylight. Ari Aster's 2019 follow-up to Hereditary sends a grieving American student and her checked-out boyfriend to a once-in-90-years festival in rural Sweden, and lets the Hårga's flower crowns and white linen slowly reveal what the commune actually does to outsiders. This quiz covers the whole film: the plot beats and the fates of every visitor, the Hårga's rituals and the real Swedish legends behind them, the cast and who they play, and the making of the film, from Aster's breakup-movie pitch and the Budapest shoot to the fight over the rating, the 171-minute director's cut and the record price paid for the May Queen dress. There are a few questions on the wider careers of Aster and Florence Pugh, too. Questions range from easy plot recall to details only repeat viewers will catch. Every answer was checked against the Wikipedia articles on the film, its director, its star and the folklore it borrows from, and each question links to its source.
