50 free Minions: the Rise of Gru trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
Minions: The Rise of Gru sends an eleven-year-old Gru to San Francisco in 1976 to audition for the world's worst supervillain team, and this quiz covers the whole caper: the Zodiac Stone heist, Otto trading it for a pet rock, Wild Knuckles and his crocodile pool, Master Chow's acupuncture clinic, the Chinese New Year showdown and the funeral that turns out to be fake. The early questions are easy enough for kids who have seen the film a dozen times: which Minion has braces, who leads the Vicious 6, what animals Kevin, Stuart and Bob get turned into. Later ones are for the grown-ups in the room: which action stars voice the villains, who produced the 70s cover soundtrack, why the film was delayed two years, what China changed about the ending, and how a group of Australian teenagers in suits turned it into a TikTok phenomenon. Every answer has been checked against the film's production record and each question links to its source. For the whole franchise, try our Minions and Despicable Me trivia; this page is only about the 2022 prequel.
