59 free Niagara Falls trivia questions with answers — geography quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
54 free Niagara Falls trivia questions with answers. Niagara Falls is three waterfalls, two countries and about 12,000 years of history, and this quiz covers all of it. The questions range over how the falls formed at the end of the last ice age, how fast they are eroding, how much water is quietly diverted to power stations, and why the American Falls was switched off for five months in 1969. Then come the people: the schoolteacher who went over in a barrel on her 63rd birthday, the tightrope walker who cooked an omelette halfway across the gorge, the seven-year-old who survived the plunge in 1960, and the film crews who brought Marilyn Monroe, Superman and Jim and Pam to the brink. Easy questions suit anyone who has seen a postcard; the hard end is for people who know their Schoellkopf from their Sir Adam Beck. Every answer has been checked against an encyclopaedia or official source, and each question shows its explanation and citation once you have answered.
