40 free Night in the Woods trivia questions with answers — trivia quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
Night in the Woods looks like a cosy picture book and plays like a story about being twenty, broke and back in the town you thought you had left. Mae Borowski drops out of college, comes home to Possum Springs, and finds her old friends have jobs, worries and plans that do not include her. Then people start to go missing. This quiz covers the people first: Mae, Bea, Gregg, Angus and the neighbours, teachers and relatives who fill the town, along with where they work and what they are hiding. It also covers the plot, from Mae's return to the strange things she starts to see, and the story of how a tiny team turned a crowdfunding pitch into an award winner. It is written for anyone who has finished the game at least once. Many questions are easy if you spent time on every rooftop and stoop; a few on the game's making and its awards are for the fans who read the credits.
