50 free Oreo trivia questions with answers — food & drink quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
40 free Oreo trivia questions with answers. Oreo trivia has a twist in it from the start: the world's best-selling cookie was a copy. Hydrox got there four years earlier, sold alongside it for decades, and lost so completely that most people now think Hydrox was the imitation. This quiz runs from that first sale in Hoboken in March 1912 through every later turn: the man who drew the embossed wreath still stamped on every wafer, the food scientist with five patents on the filling, the lard swap that made the cookie kosher, the fictional rainbow cookie, the blackout tweet, and the 2022 fluid-dynamics paper that proved the creme will never split evenly no matter how you twist. There is a full section on varieties too, including the ones you cannot buy where you live. Every answer was checked against a sourced encyclopaedic account and carries the sentence that establishes it, so the arguments end quickly.
