John Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice follows Will, an orphan taken on by the grim Ranger Halt and taught to shoot, track and move unseen. Across the books he and his friend Horace face a rebel lord, sea raiders, desert bandits and a usurper on the far side of the world.
