40 free Sister Act trivia questions with answers. Sister Act put Whoopi Goldberg in a habit, turned a convent choir into a Motown revue and became one of the biggest comedies of the 1990s. This quiz covers the 1992 film, its 1993 sequel and the stage musical: Deloris's real surname, the Reno mobster she witnesses, Sister Mary Patrick, Mary Lazarus and Mary Robert, the Reverend Mother's helicopter guilt trip, 'My Guy' becoming 'My God', the Bette Midler casting story, the writer who took his name off the script, the San Francisco church, the pope's visit, Lauryn Hill's breakout in Back in the Habit, the Broadway show's Tony nominations and the long-promised Sister Act 3. Easy questions ask who plays Deloris and what she disguises herself as; the hard ones want the screenwriter's pseudonym, the church in Noe Valley, the real choir teacher who inspired the sequel and how many performances the musical ran on Broadway. Written for musical fans, 90s kids and anyone who has belted 'I Will Follow Him' at karaoke. Every answer was checked against Wikipedia's articles on the films, the musical and the cast, and each question carries the sentence that backs it up.
