50 free Sonic the Hedgehog Movies trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
The Sonic films nearly died in the trailer stage. The first look at a humanoid Sonic was so badly received that Paramount pushed the movie three months and paid for a redesign, and the bet paid off: the 2020 film set the opening record for a video game adaptation, the sequel beat it, and Sonic 3 became Jim Carrey's highest-grossing film. These 50 questions cover all three movies and the bits around them. Green Hills, Longclaw, the mushroom planet and the Transamerica Pyramid from the first film; the Master Emerald, G.U.N., Idris Elba's Knuckles, Kid Cudi's song and the Stobotnik fandom from the second; Keanu Reeves's Shadow, Maria, the Eclipse Cannon, the Crush 40 song and Carrey's three-hour makeup chair from the third. Production questions cover the working titles Casino Night and Emerald Hill, Tyson Hesse's redesign, Ugly Sonic's cameo in Rescue Rangers and the Amy Rose tease for Sonic 4. Easy questions stick to the cast; the expert tier asks about Brendan Murphy and Playing with Fire. Every answer is cited to a page we checked, with a short explanation so you learn something even when you miss. Play it solo or print it for a family movie night.
