50 free The Amazing Spider-Man trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
The Amazing Spider-Man rebooted the web-slinger in 2012, five years after Sam Raimi's trilogy ended and two years after Spider-Man 4 collapsed. Marc Webb, fresh from 500 Days of Summer, cast Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, brought back the mechanical web-shooters, and made the Lizard the villain. The 2014 sequel added Jamie Foxx's Electro, Dane DeHaan's Harry Osborn and a plan for a whole cinematic universe that Sony cancelled when it struck its deal with Marvel Studios. This quiz covers both films: the actors who were considered for Peter, the screen test that started Garfield and Stone's relationship, Rhys Ifans in a cardboard head and a green sleeve, the first Hollywood feature shot on the RED Epic, the Harlem swing rig, the Tokyo premiere, the Shailene Woodley scenes cut from the sequel, Hans Zimmer's Magnificent Six, Sally Field's five-pound bag, the Rochester car chase and the Sinister Six film Drew Goddard never got to make. Fifty questions, four options each, with a short explanation after every answer. Play on your phone or print it for a movie quiz night.
