99 free The Notebook trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
42 free The Notebook trivia questions with answers. Released in June 2004, The Notebook was a mixed-review sleeper hit that grew into the definitive modern weepie: Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams falling in love one summer in 1940s South Carolina, a year of intercepted letters, a rebuilt plantation house, and an old man reading the whole thing aloud in a nursing home. This quiz covers the film from the carnival Ferris wheel to the final morning, plus the 1996 Nicholas Sparks novel it came from and the 2024 Broadway musical it inspired. The easy questions ask who plays Noah and Allie, where the story is set and who Duke turns out to be; the harder ones want the directors and stars who nearly made it in the 1990s, the singer Rachel McAdams beat to the part, the real house used as Allie's summer home, the battle in which Fin dies, and the alternate ending that briefly appeared on Netflix. It suits anyone who cries at the letters and anyone building a romantic movie night round. Every answer was checked against Wikipedia's articles on the film, the novel, the musical and the cast, and each question carries the sentence that backs it up.
