50 free The Rescuers trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
The Rescuers is Disney's 1977 animated adventure about Bernard and Miss Bianca, two mice from the Rescue Aid Society who fly to Devil's Bayou on the back of an albatross to save an orphan called Penny from the pawn-shop villainess Madame Medusa. Bob Newhart and Eva Gabor voice the mice, Geraldine Page plays Medusa, and the film was based on Margery Sharp's novels. This quiz covers the long road to the screen: the 1962 treatment about a poet imprisoned in a Black Castle that Walt shelved, the Antarctic penguin version, the Louis Prima polar bear who was recorded and then cut, the plan to bring back Cruella de Vil, and the Madame Medusa that Milt Kahl modelled on his own wife. It also covers Evinrude and Orville, Jim Jordan coming out of retirement at 80, the Rocky songwriters who wrote Tomorrow Is Another Day, the trainees Glen Keane and Ron Clements, the record-breaking run in France and Germany, the 1999 videotape recall and the sequel that made Disney history. Fifty questions, four options each, with a short explanation after every answer. Play on your phone or print it for a Disney movie night.
