50 free The Rising of the Shield Hero trivia questions with answers — trivia quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
The Rising of the Shield Hero, known in Japan as Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, turns the usual summoned-hero fantasy on its head. Naofumi Iwatani arrives in a new world with no way to attack, is betrayed almost at once and has to rebuild his name from nothing, one hard-won ally at a time. This quiz covers the story and the people in it: Naofumi, Raphtalia and Filo, the other summoned heroes, the royal family of Melromarc, and the allies and enemies who arrive from other worlds in later seasons. There are also questions on the voice cast, the music and the people who made the anime. Casual viewers will find plenty they remember from the first season, while the later questions are aimed at fans who know the characters by name. Every answer comes with a short explanation.
