50 free Thor: the Dark World trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
Thor: The Dark World is the MCU sequel nobody expected to be argued about a decade later. Kenneth Branagh stepped away, Patty Jenkins came and went, and Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor delivered a grittier Asgard, a Dark Elf villain who spoke an invented language, and a Loki twist that test audiences refused to believe. This quiz covers the plot and the production. You will be asked about the Aether and the Convergence, the Greenwich finale, the Iceland locations that became Svartalfheim, the working title Thursday Mourning, the composer Marvel replaced, the Joss Whedon rescue rewrites, and the mid-credits scene directed by James Gunn. Easy questions cover cast and story; harder ones dig into box-office records, budgets, the toy-driven decision to drop Hela, the 40-pound Kurse suit and a cement truck on a hydraulic rig. Fifty questions, each answer checked against the record.
