50 free Uno trivia questions with answers — entertainment quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
Uno began in 1971 in a barbershop in Reading, Ohio, where Merle Robbins and his family mortgaged their house to print the first 5,000 decks. A funeral-parlour owner bought the rights for $50,000, ran the company from behind his funeral home, and two decades later sold the whole thing to Mattel. The game is now in the National Toy Hall of Fame and has a world champion. These 50 questions cover the history and the rules that families argue about: how many cards are in the deck, what a Wild Draw Four challenge costs, whether stacking Draw Twos is official (Mattel says no), what the Seven-O and Jump-In house rules do, and how the 2015, 2017 and 2022 rule changes altered the game. There are questions on the special editions too: the waterproof H2O deck, the Braille and colour-blind versions, the NFL fandom sets, the Dos spin-off, the slot machines and the heist movie that was announced with Lil Yachty. Easy questions cover colours and card counts; the expert tier asks about the printer in Maywood, the esports arena in Las Vegas and the scrapped million-dollar game show. Every answer is cited and explained.
