50 free VTubers trivia questions with answers — pop culture quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
VTubers are entertainers who perform as animated characters, with motion capture carrying every nod and grin onto an avatar. What began as a niche experiment on Japanese YouTube in the mid-2010s has become a global industry with talent agencies, sold-out concerts, brand deals and some of the most-watched live streams anywhere. This quiz spans the whole scene: the pioneers who started it, the best-known names at Hololive and Nijisanji, independent streamers on Twitch, the software and hardware that bring a model to life, and the slang fans use every day. You will also meet the stranger moments when virtual streamers crossed into sport, politics, advertising and the record books. It is written for fans who watch every debut as well as newcomers who keep seeing clips and want to know who is who. Every answer comes with a short explanation, so you will finish knowing a little more than when you started.
