40 free WayV trivia questions with answers — music quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
WayV arrived in January 2019 as the China-based branch of SM Entertainment's NCT project: a group of performers from across the Chinese-speaking world and beyond, singing mostly in Mandarin while training and working in Seoul. Since then the line-up has changed, the sound has moved from hard-edged hip-hop to bright dance pop, and the group has built a fan base of its own alongside the wider NCT family. This quiz starts with the members: where each one comes from, what they did before debut, and the solo projects, sub-units and side groups they have joined. It then moves through the music, from the debut single and early EPs to the studio albums, soundtrack work, concerts and chart milestones, with a few stories from behind the scenes. The early questions are for anyone who has followed a comeback or two, and the later ones reward fans who know the B-sides, the variety appearances and the dorm pets. Each answer comes with a short explanation, so even a wrong guess teaches you something new about the group.
