58 free WNBA trivia questions with answers — sports quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
55 free WNBA trivia questions with answers. The WNBA has gone from an eight-team experiment in 1997 to sold-out arenas, best-of-seven Finals and a franchise in Canada. This WNBA trivia quiz covers the whole arc: the Houston Comets winning the first four titles, the Sparks, Shock and Lynx dynasties, Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi's UConn-to-gold-medal careers, A'ja Wilson's record four MVPs, and the Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese rookie class that changed the league's attendance numbers overnight. Easy questions ask which team won the first four championships or who was drafted first in 2024. Harder ones dig into who scored the league's first point, which team the expansion Valkyries were not allowed to draft from, the year the shot clock dropped to 24 seconds, and the oldest No. 1 pick in draft history. Every answer has been checked against team histories and player records and carries a linked source, so it holds up for a sports bar quiz, a watch-party warm-up or settling who really knows the W.
