The Great British Bake Off started in 2010 as a touring BBC Two contest with ten home bakers and a marquee full of bunting, and within six years it was the most-watched programme on British television. Then the tent packed up and moved to Channel 4, taking one judge, neither presenter and most of the audience with it. These 48 questions cover the whole run: every winner from the first final to the most recent, the judges and presenters of both eras, the tent's famous disasters and rows, the challenge rounds and the handshake, and the spin-offs and overseas versions that followed. Each answer comes with an explanation that adds something you did not know. It suits anyone who has watched a series or two, from casual fans to the people who can name every Star Baker.
