50 free Pokemon Sun and Moon trivia questions with answers — trivia quiz, new questions added Oct 2026.
Pokémon Sun and Moon tore up a formula that had held for two decades. The seventh generation swapped the familiar road of badges for a tropical archipelago with its own customs, gave old favourites surprising regional makeovers, and told one of the series' most character-driven stories, complete with a gang of lovable dropouts and a family drama at its heart. This quiz covers the whole generation: the original pair of games and their Ultra follow-ups, the new creatures and what makes each one odd, the people you meet on the way, the features that changed how the games play, and the anime series that followed Ash to the islands. It is written for anyone who spent a few dozen hours island-hopping, whether you remember every trial or only your starter. Expect easy openers, a run of name-that-Pokémon questions, and a handful of deep cuts for players who finished the post-game.
