Voltron: Legendary Defender took a much-loved 1980s cartoon about five robot lions and rebuilt it as a sweeping space saga. Across eight seasons, a group of stranded Earth cadets learn to fly the lions, form the giant robot and take on an empire that has ruled the stars for ten thousand years. This quiz covers the whole run. Expect questions on the Paladins and who flies which lion, on Lance, Keith, Pidge, Hunk, Shiro, Allura and Coran, and on the Galra they fight, from Emperor Zarkon and the witch Haggar to Prince Lotor and his generals. There is a run of questions on season four, plenty on the later twists, and a look behind the scenes at the voice actors, the showrunners and the studios that gave the series its look. It is written for fans at every level. The opening questions are the gentlest, the later ones reward viewers who remember the lore, and every answer comes with a short explanation, so you learn something even when you miss.
